Morning Baby

Lately, I have noticed that Josh is a morning baby (unlike his Mommy). He loves to giggle and laugh first thing in the morning when he wakes up. Evening and night time is another story. In the morning though, he loves nuzzling noses, and loves it when I put his undershirt on (no idea why - this baby does not like being naked). I have been trying and trying to catch his smiles on camera - but no such luck. As soon as I whip out that cam, he's back to blobby baby.

2 Month Check-up

Length: 24in
Weight: 12lbs 1oz

Today, I took Josh for his 2 month check up and shots. He cried like a champ. Poor boy... the ped didn't apply enough pressure to the wound and he bled all over his clothes. :( Since he's been home, he has been crying and fussing. Tim and I are bracing ourselves for a loooong night.

In happier news, he slept for a 5.5 hours stretch last night!! I hope it's not a fluke.

Birthday Party

Josh attended his first birthday party today! His neighbour Aida turned 1 today. :) He was such a good boy and slept through it all while Mommy and Daddy had cake.

Back to Square One

Well, Tim went back to work yesterday, and it seems like it's back to square one for Josh. He is not liking the new routine and the past two nights have really been h*ll. He refuses to be put into his crib, and is basically inconsolable. After hours of rocking, he would fall asleep in our arms, but as soon as his pinky toe touches the crib - it's screamfest 2007. Poor Tim - he is sleep deprived and he has to "get up" (I put it in quotations because really, if one's up all night, there is no getting up) at 6am to go to work. Of course after Daddy leaves, Josh is wailing away. But at least I can take a cat nap during the day. Hopefully, he will settle down again soon and we can get some sleep again.
